NovaNET Plug-in - Backup for Microsoft SQL Server

Requirements: Microsoft SQL Server 6.0 or higher, Windows 2000/XP or NT 4.x, and NovaNET

NovaNET Backup for Microsoft SQL Server is a reliable way to efficiently back up and restore your Microsoft SQL Server databases. NovaNET for Windows NT/2000/XP and the optional SQL Backup plug-in provides secure, automatic on-line backup of critical databases, even while they are still open and being used.

Key to the quick recovery of databases are the transaction logs. By using the transaction logs associated with each database, quick recovery of a database can achieved. Transactions that were not committed can be rolled back, while transactions that were committed can be written to disk.

The SQL Backup plug-in is installed easily, integrated in to NovaNET for total data protection of Microsoft SQL Server databases. With this package, you receive complete protection of the database files, tables, data and transaction logs.

NovaNET Plug-in - Backup for Microsoft Cluster Server

Requirements: Microsoft Cluster Server, Windows XP/2000/NT 4.x, and NovaNET 7 SP2D or higher

MS Cluster Server support has been added to NovaNET 7 SP2D and above. This module can be installed as an option. This option allows a "Cluster Container" to be created which contains all the shared resources within the cluster. For example, if the SQL service and Drive M: are cluster resources, drag the M: volume and the SQL Database folder to the new cluster container. Once the resource is located in the cluster container, whichever member of the cluster has ownership of the resources will be used for the backup or restore operation.
