JStor-4 SATA (Serial ATA) 12-bay RAID Array
with MDF (Multiple Drives Failure) capabilities
Dual SCSI Host Interfaces

Key Benefits
Raising the bar to a new level, JStor-4 SATA 12 bay RAID array delivers reliable data protection combined with the blazing performance of Ultra320 SCSI to support mission critical business applications. Engineered to meet stringent demands for continuous availability, JStor SATA 12 bay RAID array features powerful 400MHz 64-bit RISC processor for blazingly fast I/O operations, parity-assist ASIC, completely cableless backplane-based design, and storage capacities reaching 5TB in one small 2U enclosure.

Low service and integration costs are assured by the JStor's cableless design, two redundant hot-swappable power supplies with two independent power inputs, turbo cooling fans, and embedded RAID controller. Three year warranty comes standard with every array and covers all components.

The JStor SATA 12bay RAID addresses many challenges present in datacenters and delivers unparalleled storage flexibility, higher levels of data availability, management and configuration simplicity, all while securing maximum investment protection to support future growth.

Advanced Features

Exclusive MDF (Multiple Drives Failure) capabilities (RAID 6) provides the highest level of data protection. Multiple simultaneous drive failures can be tolerated without downtime or data loss.

Array Roaming feature gives administrators the ability to move a complete raid set to another system without losing RAID configuration and data on that raid set.

Redundant Flash Image provides an extra layer of protection against the firmware image corruption. If the primary firmware of the RAID controller becomes corrupted, the secondary firmware image will automatically be used.

Full 48-bit ATA addressing standard support allows for up to 144 petabytes capacity per drive to be utilized in the RAID array.

ASIC assisted parity for lightning-fast throughput.

SNMP supported.

RAID controller provides RAID 0, 0+1, 1, 3, 5, and RAID 6, Global Hot Spare Disk, Auto Rebuild, and up to 1GB of DDR ECC SDRAM-based data cache.

Intelligent IDE/ATA backplane design (uses no cables) allows "hot swapping" of disk canisters, power supplies, and fans for increased reliability, lower cost, and ease of maintenance.

Built-in management ethernet port provides easy access to the web-based GUI RAID Manager for configuration, management, and monitoring functions. E-mail event notification built in.

Completely user configurable via the front panel.

Online Parity Consistency verification feature insures RAID set integrity.
