True Hot Swap & Hot Fix

Allows the removal of disks, power supplies, fans and raid controllers, both failed and in operation from an array without powering down the system or taking users off line. Where many other diskarray manufacturers claim "Hot Swap", they must first either take the server off line, or shut down the system to change a failed drive. Each hot fix tray is equipped with a controller that performs both start-up or shutdown sequences. These sequences take the drive off line systematically. The activation of this procedure is initiated by pushing a button located on the front of the tray. An LED display will inform the user when to remove the drive.
