VFS113, Fibre Channel-to-Ultra2 SCSI

Overview

Chaparral's VFS113R Intelligent Storage Router enables connectivity between SCSI devices and Fibre Channel networks. Companies can take advantage of the robust features of Fibre Channel Technology while protecting investments in new and legacy SCSI storage devices. By combining the benefits of Fibre Channel with Ultra2 LVD SCSI, this new generation router is ideal for mid-range to high-end UNIX and NT markets. The Chaparral VFS113R provides the performance, reliability and fault tolerance for enterprise-class storage and the emerging Storage Area Network (SAN) environment. Chaparral also offers optional Extended Copy feature for high-speed backup over Fibre Channel.
