VFS113, Fibre Channel-to-Ultra2 SCSI
Overview
Chaparral's VFS226 Intelligent Storage Router enables connectivity between SCSI devices and Fibre Channel networks allowing companies to take advantage of the robustness of Fibre Channel technology while protecting investments in SCSI storage devices. The VFS226 enables a dual Fibre Channel connection to any SCSI storage device (including tape, disk, optical and robotic). With unprecedented performance, extended distances and storage management capabilities, the VFS226 is designed to meet the high performance and high availability needs of departmental servers as well as advanced applications for SANs (Storage Area Networks).
