TR Series - Tape Replicator
Solutions include: standlone tape replication, offline tape replication, tape replication for UNIX, Windows, Linux, Netware, Mac; Formats include: LTO replication, DLT replication, SDLT replication, AIT replication... Multiple Tape Autoloader replication, Single Tape library replication, Multiple Tape library replication.
The TR tape-replication system is designed to produce up to four simultaneous copies of 4mm, 8mm, AIT, DLT, SDLT or LTO tapes from a single source tape-drive.
While your system is busy doing other tasks, the Stand-Alone Tape Array controllers Copy, Copy
& Verify or Verify Only your backup tapes. Provides high speed media duplication
and verification operations without server intervention.
Duplication operations are initiated locally from the controller's front panel operator console. The standalone media duplication controller supports up to 2 tape drives,(we also have versions that support optical or disk drives. Simultaneously create an EXACT original copy of your data server free at high speed. To increase production rates, a data mirroring controller with additional drives can be added to produce a flexible and scalable duplication solution.
Features
- High performance server free media duplication for tape devices
- Highly scalable to increase production rates
- Platform independent - Windows 2000/NT/XP, Unix, Novell, etc.
- Local media duplication management
- Remote media duplication management
- No system overhead
