Exabyte 440/480 Automated 8mm Library

With data throughput of up to 86.4 gigabytes per hour, Exabyte's 440 and 480 tape libraries back up 345 gigabytes in just four hours.

The libraries offer full support for data archiving, remote and near-online storage. The exabyte 440 and 480 also include security interlock, modular design, LCD screen and bar code reader for sophisticated data management. The Exabyte 440 includes two or four Exabyte Mammoth, or Eliant™ 820 tape drives and 40-data-cartridge capacity and easily upgrades to an Exabyte 480: four tape drives and 80-data-cartridge capacity.
